Water & Heat Add-on Rituals

The Foundation

Where It All Begins

Before oil, before pressure, before any hands-on therapy — the body often needs water or heat to actually be ready to receive it. Jala & Agni are ancient, elemental tools used with real purpose here, not as spa-day decoration.

Warm water jets work with the body’s own circulation, releasing tension and easing joints while calming the nervous system directly. A rare water ritual, genuinely difficult to find in the middle of a city.

How to Use These Rituals

Add Dhupa Snana or Nirmala Snan before any Signature Oil Massage to help the body arrive fully before therapy begins. Amrit Kund and Tapas work well as a standalone circuit, or as a closing ritual after a Deep Tissue or Potli session, when the body needs to properly release rather than immediately re-enter the city.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Water & Heat Add-on Rituals, Answered

Tapas (sauna) uses dry heat to draw out toxins and open pores over 20 minutes, while Dhupa Snana (steam) uses warm, moist steam to open the airways and soften the skin — both are 20-minute rituals, typically used to prepare the body before a massage.

Either works. Booking heat/water before a massage helps the body relax and receive therapy more fully; booking it after can help release residual tension and ease the transition back into your day.
